| 1051 | 736 Add An Event | The Genoese fleet begins to harry and destroy Aryanic strongholds on the Balearic islands, as the whole Iberian peninsula begins to rise against the Aryanists, whose conversion forces had proven to be very unpopular, especially compared with the more mild Muslim version of convereting to faith.
In the north, however, the Aryans are getting their second wind from desperation, as the Island Vikings and Germans (Scandinavia had pretty much depleted its' human reserves when sending the now-doomed host to North Africa), quickly counterattack the Francs by land and sea, suddenly reaching Paris and burning it. This proves to be the extent of the Aryans strength, however, as the Franks enraged rise and pretty much repeat the north African rout. GE, employers of his identical twin brother, who uses the name John Reynolds, had offered Reagan the position as the company's onscreen face. John, a perfect duplicate of his brother in face and voice, gives speeches around the country, touting GE's work toward America's industrial and capitalist progress, while denouncing Communist influence at home and abroad. "I was the smiling face and the reassuring voice on Channel 4," Ron would later tell a friend who knew the twins' secret, "and Johnny did the dirty work, acting tough and snarling at the Commies. I knew I didn't have it in me to be so angry in public. He did." The advantage of keeping the fact of Reagan's twin brother a secret is no longer just personal or business, but political. At least 35,000 British and ANZAC troops breach the shaky defenses. Which are defended by only 5,700 Boers armed with French weapons. They are outnumbered and have a poor leader in charge of those troops. The British begin making startling victories against them.

Many surrounding towns are destroyed. Several U.S officers are disgusted with the attrition of Roosevelt's government and plot a coup against him. | 2005 | 2748 Add An Event | American scientists from Pfizer release Zocin, the first in a novel class of widespread antibiotics given "rapid" approval to help combat the Plague. To everyone's surprise, it works in 99% of the original Plague strain and over 85% of the SJ strain. Mass manufacturing is given the green light and all pharmaceutical companies are given the plans for manufacturing the new drug and transmitted around the world.
Egypt reports over 62 million dead after the brief "War of the Sinai" and moves its capital to Al Minya. The old regime is gone and survivors have no taste for war, but the world now recognizes that Israel is a nuclear power that will defend itself as needed. Syria and Israel sign the Golan Accords, splitting the area in half with each side allowed one air base and one army base.
India reports over 100 million dead while China reports over 150 million dead with world dead now estimates reaching those of the WHO predicted total. | 2008 | 1640 Add An Event | "Mini Tuesday" sees seven states split nearly evenly between Harris and Riffle. Harris takes Wisconsin, Minnesotta, and Washington. Riffle takes Virginia, Utah, Tennessee, and North Dakota.
Meanwhile, voices in continental Europe, especially France, begin classifying Harris as "George Bush in a Starfleet uniform", based primarily on his record on defense issues, specifically his support for the Iraq invasion. | 2009 | 2085 Add An Event | The last vestiges of the Canadian power are overthrown. US National Guard forces occupy Canadian cities of Toronto, Vancouver, Quebec City. The Canadian nationalists are rounded up and send to concentration camps in radioactive parts of the United States like New Mexico and Texas. Many of them die from force labour, starvation and from contaminated drinking water.
An order by the Administration of Jeb Bush with the authorisation of the Republican Congress and Senate, authorises the creation of a Republican Guard army. This army has it's own navy, air-force and tank brigades. Cities like Detroit, Los Angeles and Pittsburg begin construction of large number of armaments never before since the Cold War.
Traitors and expandable oppositions groups like the Democrats are send to radioactive parts of the United States where they begin to clean and decontaminate the areas. Many die like their Canadian counterparts in the concentration camps. Some are move to Washington to rebuild the White House, the Congress and many of the national monuments that were destroyed in the war. | 2009 | 1640 Add An Event | President Harris travels to the Picatinny Arsenal in northwestern New Jersey to inspect some of the U.S. Military's newest experimental weaponry. As part of a photo op, he fires an XM8 rifle, the proposed successor to the M16A2 and M4A2, with surprising accuracy (for one who has never served in the armed services).
Addressing the reporters after the photo op, Harris holds up the XM8. "This rifle, made by Heckler & Koch, is the lightest, most accurate, most advanced and versatile personal weapon system in the world. It is also inexpensive. Yet our military men and women don't have it. So far, we have 130 of these rifles, and they're all right here at Picatinny. We've been trying to get them into the field since 2005, but Congress has steadfastly refused to fund their purchase. Our armed forces are carrying 40 year old technology in their M16's.
