In June 2003, this Day in Alternate History changed from
an static HTML site to a dynamic database driven site. All timelines
in the site, as of the conversion date, and any new events subsequently
received, were moved to the database. All of the outdated HTML pages
have remained accessible. However, as of November 23, 2003, these
pages have been removed from the site. Since these pages have
been indexed by search engines, users may still be directed to these
pages for some time until the indexes are updated.
If you were directed to this site by a search engine, you can easily
find the topic you originally searched by using the site
search engine. I apologize for any confusion this has created,
but the benefits of a database driven site should outweigh whatever
problems the conversion causes.
